When you have found the best gift for someone, it’s time to think about wrapping it properly. If you ever have tried to wrap a present, you know how tricky actually it can be especially if you don’t wrap gifts very often or do it for the first time. Here are step-by-step gift wrapping instructions in a traditional way. So let’s get started!
First of all, make sure that you have removed all price tags from your gift. It seems so obvious, but anyway it’s always a great idea to check twice.- Put your gift in an appropriate box. This is optional, it’s ok if you decide not to use a box, although it would make the wrapping process a little bit easier if you do.
- Now you need to unroll your favorite wrapping paper on the table or floor. Make sure you have a free space to do the work!
- Place the gift on a wrapping paper and make some measurements how much paper will be needed. Make sure that you have enough paper to fit around the entire gift. It’s a good idea to leave some extra inches to be sure that the present will be completely covered.
- Ok, now it’s time to cut the paper. You can mark the cut lines if you think cutting straight lines is too difficult.
- When it’s done and you have a perfect size wrapping paper, put the gift upside down in the middle of the paper.
- Take one side and fold it over to the bottom of your gift. Then take the other site and fold it over too. Pull both sides tightly and tape them together.
- Now you need to close the ends of your present. Fold the right and the left side of the edges pushing the sides in to form of flaps.
- Fold top flap down to the box, pull very tightly and then tape. Fold the bottom flap up tightly and tape. Repeat
it on the other side of your gift. - Hurray! You’re done! Now you just need to tie a nice bow and the perfect gift is ready! Go here to find out How to Tie a Gift Bow

My only tip is don’t use too much paper, makes the ends of the parcel look really untidy.
